Campaign Trail
Telework Association member Paul Tate
is one of the UK's Broadband Local heroes.
He told us: "I picked it up that the campaign was floating around on CIX
and I saw the Todmorden success."
He made some leaflets and sent a press release to the local paper and to
his local MP.
He goes on: "I have had volunteers to distribute leaflets and have had 47
webform submissions and 12 leaflets back. I think we have between
1200-1500 households/businesses in the seven/eight villages.
The home page has a script that gives the current BT registration total
(59 at last count). The other interesting thing is that I contacted BT and
they said they would help with tailored advertising leaflets production
and distribution etc."
